The heart has 4 chambers…two on the right and two on the left.
The 2 on the right are the right atrium and the right ventricle
The 2 on the left are the Left atrium and the Left ventricle.
The left ventricle sends blood to the body and the right ventricle sends blood to the lungs.
In CPR the need to compress the left Ventricle is key for survival of the patient.
